Qatar University Library to organise Virtual Book Fair  01 Mar 2021 - 9:24 QNA Doha: The Qatar University Library, in cooperation with the Lusail Publishing and Distribution House, is organizing the Virtual Book Fair 2021 during the period from March 28, 2021 to April 1,2021, with the participation of more than 300 publishing houses from inside and outside Qatar. The fair comes in the desire of the University Library and the Lusail Publishing and Distribution House to support education and spread culture among members of society by all available means, and an emphasis on the importance of knowledge, science, and the necessity Work to publish them despite the challenges represented by the Corona pandemic.

Obituary: Mr Thomas Lanier Black

Obituary: Mr. Thomas Lanier Black Augusta Chronicle Thomas Black died on Feb. 4, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital in Louisville. He was born on Sept. 15, 1941. Thomas is survived by his wife of 30 years, Martha Crouch Black; their son, George Edward Crouch V and his wife Allison June Crouch; and two grandsons, Ward and Jones Crouch.   Thomas graduated from the University of Georgia in 1963 with a degree in Landscape Design. He interned at Callaway Gardens before serving four years in the United States Navy, stationed in Norfolk and the Mediterranean. Thomas later joined the Peace Corps and served 2 years in Nigeria and participated in an exchange program in Sweden.
